After sending out our holiday letter we received many emails back. We want to thank people for taking the time to wish us happy holidays. In 2019 we lost some special clients. We have decided to make our December 2019 fan post a tribute to some of those who are no longer by our side but will forever remain in our hearts. We celebrate their lives and the Old Dog treats they ate and are forever grateful for each of them!

It’s with profound sadness that I must inform you of the passing of my beloved
Sammy on Friday the 13th of December. Your wonderful diabetic cookies supported him through the last five years. I am convinced that those treats gave me extra time with him. And while I remain broken-hearted, it is important to thank you all for what you do.

Well, you are probably wondering why I haven’t placed any recent orders. My sweet dog Sammers passed from this earth in April of this year. My sadness lingers…Sam was a rescue at 8 years of age. Nobody wanted an "old boy" so he stayed in the “no kill” shelter for 2 ½ years and became their favorite there. I gave Sammers the very best for the 8 additional years that he lived with me, diabetes an all. He was a happy dog and loved his new home and big back yard. Needless to say I miss him every moment of my days and nights and life is just not the same without Sammers. But if he were here in the physical, he would join me in wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday. Sammers and I were blessed to find you. - Tamara

Rocky passed away in September of last year but I have adopted another semi senior girl who is otherwise healthy at the moment so I know where to find the treats if I need them merry Christmas. -Ines
